When Viola Li becomes photosensitive to UV rays her life is miserable. She can't use her phone, or any electronic device ever again, she has to live in the dark the rest of her life, and she can't go outside. She has to wear a big floppy hat and wear 5 layers of clothes when she goes outside and she has to wear a ski-mask to get in the car. She is so miserable that she can't control herself and she goes crazy. When she goes outside in cute shorts and a cute tank top, life is painful, deadly, and possibly melty. She could die if she goes outside. What's even worse is she is on the track team. When she runs away to pursue her dream of being normal, something really bad happens. I give this book 4 stars.
