The Crossover by Kwame Alexander is a book with lots of basketball so if you like basketball you might enjoy this book. This book is not just about basketball though. It is also about Josh Bell and his brother, Jordan and challenges they face along the way. There is also Josh's mom Crystal and her worrying about Josh's dad Chuck Bell's health.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes basketball, suspenseful books, and books in verse.
I give The Crossover 4.6 out of 5 stars

The Odyssey
The Odyssey, one of the world's classics, is about the travels and troubles of Odysseus. Familiar with Greek mythology? You know who I'm talking about.
However, this book is called an epic poem for a reason. The poem itself is 485 pages long, and the plot is complicated. So I do not recommend this book to you unless you think you can handle it, because it is kind of a difficult read.
This book does have some language.
I rate this book 3.5 stars, just because it is a difficult read.

Monster Review, A window into a courtroom
A teenager is sent to court for a crime he didn't commit... or did he? He writes his life down as a movie. A movie called Monster. This book was alright but I would not recommend this book to anyone who does not like novels in verse.
I didn't really like it until I got two thirds of the way through.
overall I think this book was decent.

She knows that face from anywhere.
Wren was eight years old when she was getting stuff at a gas station with her mom. Her mom leaves the car but keeps the music on, leaving the keys in the car with Wren in it. Suddenly the car starts moving again but, not with her mother driving it. Later, Wren was hiding, when she escaped back to her family. And now, Wren is older and meets with a face she knows. That person knows Wren's secret, and Wren knows hers.
This book is recommended for people who like:
Intense books, books in verse.
I would give this book 4.5 stars, it would have to be a little longer to get a 5.

This an awesome that you should read
The crossover was written by Kwame Alexander was a great book especially if you like basketball. I think this was a widow for me because these two kids in the book are only in 7th grade and in their life they have to experience a horrific thing that happens to them at the end of the book. I personally haven't experience what has happened to these two twin brothers.I would recommend this book to people that like basketball but you don't even have to like basketball to like this book because it is about so much more. if you like cliffhangers then you might like this book.
I would give this book 4.5 stars.

My poor arm...that stupid shark...
What would you do if a shark comes up behind you and bites your arm? It does not come clean off, but they have to amputate it. I just finished reading the book Shark Girl and it was probably about 3.5 stars. It was about this girl who gets her arm amputated on account of a shark attack and then the doctors have to amputate it. When Jane gets out of her coma, she realizes that she can't do things like she could before. She gets depression because of her disability. The book is all about how she works through this depression and kind of fails at everything. I would recommend this book for anyone who likes reading about tragic disasters and people who read about people working through their disabilities.***Do not read if you don't like blood***
