Debate Club... Mrs.Rochambeau... Lenny
The title of this book is called The Benefits of Being an Octopus. It is about a girl named Zoey. Zoey lives in a trailer with her mom, Lenny, Frank, her siblings, Aurora, Bryce, and Hector. All of them are very low on money and can't afford a lot to eat. Sometimes, it is very intense because stuff like using to much gas is a big deal because gas costs a lot of money. So at first she is thinking Oh, this is going to be the worst thing ever. But once she gets complemented by someone at lunch she realizes how going to the debate competition might be a good thing. Your used to girls wearing dresses... But boys...?

So, this book is probably the best book I have ever read. Like, it's on my top 3. So, what this book is about is a prince, Prince Sebastian, and a dressmaker, Frances. They meet because he hires her as a personal dressmaker. Except at first, Frances doesn't realize that he's a prince. She thinks he is a princess. so of course, that gets awkward... And well... they both decide they can help each other. She keeps his secret and makes dresses for him... And she may someday become a great designer.

What would it be like to loose a limb...

The book Running Dream by Wendelin Van Draanen is an amazing book about Jessica, a 16-year-old girl who loves running. Sadly, Jessica gets into an accident and loses one of her legs. All she wants to do is run but it brings her down that she could possibly never run again. When she finally gets back to school after days in the hospital she makes a friend she never even noticed before just because she had cerebral palsy. While she's off making new friends her track teams trying to get her back on her feet. I would recommend this to someone that like stories about friendship, captivating books, and the challenge of feeling alone. I would give this book a 5-star rating because it truly sucks you in so you don't want to put it down

A prince that likes to wear dresses...

Image result for the prince and the dressmakerI just finished the book The Prince and the Dressmaker. It's a graphic novel about a seamstress named Frances that is hired by Prince Sebastian to make dresses for him. Sebastian's parents are pressuring him to get married, but what they don't know is that he sometimes likes to dress up in women's clothing. Frances sews him dresses and Sebastian wears a wig to spend his nights as his alternate persona, Lady Crystallia. The only problem is that he has to keep this secret from his parents, while they're becoming more and more persistent about his marriage. My poor arm...that stupid shark...

Image result for shark girl the bookWhat would you do if a shark comes up behind you and bites your arm?  It does not come clean off, but they have to amputate it.  I just finished reading the book Shark Girl and it was probably about 3.5 stars.  It was about this girl who gets her arm amputated on account of a shark attack and then the doctors have to amputate it.  When Jane gets out of her coma, she realizes that she can't do things like she could before.  She gets depression because of her disability.  The book is all about how she works through this depression and kind of fails at everything.  I would recommend this book for anyone who likes reading about tragic disasters and people who read about people working through their disabilities.
