The name of this book is The Crossover.

Stella by Starlight was a great book and I would highly recommend it because there are three major events that are shocking and page turning. The book is about a girl named Stella who is black and lives in the south in early 1900 when the KKK active. Stella and her brother see the Klan burning a cross across the pond. Then the neighborhood goes crazy. Read the book to find out what happens next.
I read the book No Fixed Address by Susin Nielsen because it was a sliding glass door for me. Felix Knutsson has a love for a tv show called Who, What, Where, When. His mom Astrid is a good mom, sometimes, but she just can't seem to keep a job. When they move into a Westfalia van his mom tells him that under no circumstance can he tell anyone about their living situation. When he gets into the French only class he meets Winnie Wu. During this book, Felix not only learns a lot about himself but also about the world around him. Read the book to find out what happens to Felix, Astrid, Winnie, and their current situation. I would recommend this book to anyone who is reading the 2019-2020 DCF book list and to anyone who likes subtle suspense, and a good book.
DON'T read if you like complex books.
